Hi, yes. Good morning. Be forewarned that I have had a fitful night of sleep and I despise this fixture and am not in the mood for any nonsense from all of you. So let’s stay focused on the business end of this or whatever cliche it is you all typically use.
I’d have thought it would be to our advantage. The ball’s gonna be pinging about like a pin ball machine. Maguire , de Ligt and Martinez’ heads will be fucking spinning … a lot faster than their bodies too !
Yes, but sub-par playing conditions favour the team with the strongest mindset and highest morale. Right now, I think our morale is higher than theirs, so I don’t think it is more detrimental to us than to them. For them, being in a ditch like they are, playing away on a sour day is harder than on a summer day, I would imagine.
But absolutely, wet pitch can create problematic situations for both teams. But again, I personally think grim weather ought to favour the team with the highest morale. Because they are not used to playing in such conditions more than we are.
There are no goals in this United side from open play, so it’s guaranteed they’re going to try to shithouse a goal somehow, likely Bruno diving around in our box looking for a penno.
Hopefully Oliver keeps his head and doesn’t fall for it. The cunt.
Also, I expect Martinez to have at least one horror tackle on our lads today. Hopefully he gets the red card he has deserved several times this season but so far eluded. The cunt.
