edit…did they put the barriers up just in case there might be another protest/riot? Or is it always like this?

How surreal is this though. Phillips the 5th/6th choice at the beginning of the season. Now he’s first choice and of course he has suffered an injury. Along with Van Dijk, Gomez, Matip, Henderson, Fabinho and Kabak. Playing as a CB is supposed to be less physically demanding ffs.

You didn’t tag me on Monday and today again. We all know what’s going to happen.

How is Jonjo only 29? Feels like he was here ages ago. Guy moved about as well as the ship that got stuck in the suez but always had a soft spot for him.

That + Joelinton starting, we are f*cked.

Will always love Shelvey purely for him giving it to O’l Whiskey Nose with both barrels against the scum

Always enjoy Newcastle games, lots of classics in the past and just the kind of fixture that the ESL didn’t understand. It would be great if we could actually take our chances for once. If so, it should be an easy win. If not, expect more disappointment. The line up is bold, but you have to wonder what Bobby has to do to get dropped. Fingers crossed he makes me eat my words.

Rücksichtslos abenteuerlustig, possibly? It’s not a language that I would describe as terse.

4 strikers, against Newcastle. 4-3 it is then
Come on Liverpool, 4th is ours, we just need to take it.
