Amorim - 18 points from 16 games. Quite similarly abysmal.
We were similarly bad under Hodgson give or take a point or two.
That was due to KD as you well know.

The point is we recognized that we’d made a big mistake and swiftly moved to rectify it. United don’t appear to be doing the same, and even if they wanted to I’m not sure they could afford it given PSR/FFP and the amount they’ve already spaffed up the wall this season from sacking people.

Yeah but you got to reckon he was on track to do better than 8 points in 7 games even then so…
While Hodgson was a disaster, Hicks& Gillette had their problems spending. He wasn’t given multiple guys sitting on at 350k a week(or whatever is the equivalent salary then). He did bring in Joe Cole which at that time was unforgivable though.
United apparently had a top 3 contender this season.
