I expect Keita plays instead of Milner
Klopp was very apologetic for not bringing on Oxlade-Chamberlain at Wembley so he might get minutes at weekend.
With only 3 subs, I’d only expect him to get the last 10, if we’re up 3 goals, or if Klopp’s gotten word City are winning handily.
I think Pep Ljinders will have his flash scores on
You’d assume he’d try and give Divok some minutes near the end if things are either going well for us (us winning comfortably) or look hopeless (City winning easily) . I expect he’ll get a big send off from the crowd whatever the result. Never been a major fan of his, but can’t argue with his huge contribution at key moments and he’s also ‘happy’ to wait his (rare) turn on the pitch without moaning.
I’m skeptical about whether that clause even exists? Given that it’s virtually a nailed on certainty that Citoil will will the league more often than not, it’d be throwing money away given their recent record. Why would MiClown Richards even be privy to what’s in the tranfer agreement? He’s also said on Twitter that he never said that and I’ve not seen any clips of him saying it either. Surely after him denying he said it, if he had someone would show the clip as proof?

Yeah it would be all over social media, I think you can even listen again so if he said it someone would have sought it out.
Makes sense that there is some bonuses in way of achievement but I would assume that’s games played, maybe the CL.
I think he wants the CL starting side to play, just so they stay in rhythm. Anyone that has a slight fitness concern will be on the bench (VVD and Mo, I’m assuming).
How about this for a scenario:
15 min Pool loosing 1 nil…city confidence rises…
30 mins City then loose a goal…its ok Pool loosing…
65 mins Pool draw level… city say its ok we win on GD
90+4mins Pool win with an Origi goal…City end on a loss
Some drama back and forth etc
Or how about we go up 3-0 before half time to settle everyone’s nerves and Villa somehow shithouse a draw?
Even assuming it is true, Stevie wont give a fuck. And most of those players have very limited prospects of being involved in a title decider. Getting something out of this game is likely to be their only opportunity to ever have a story to tell when they’re 60.
I like this scenario better
I’m with you.
Albeit the joy of winning the PL on massive twists and turns on the day would be a story talked about for the ages, I’d rather a stress free affair and afternoon (on our part) - cruise to a comfortable win, and see what happens at City v Villa.
If Villa do us a favour, the story is there. We were 14 points behind in Jan, clawed it back and won it on the last day, made all the finals, a treble/quad was had, massive erection (both in trousers and klopps statue).
This one
Let’s get the 3 points and the rest is destiny.
This is going to be really stressy…can we stand it?
I would only be stressed if we are winning by a goal and Villa are drawing, and we are in injury time with us and Villa defending a last kick of the ball corner.
I’ve promised myself just to bite the nails on the one hand only…
Keeping the nails on the other hand for the CL final a week later…
What a time to be a fan of LFC :0)
Never really expected us to win the league so if it happens its a bonus.
Doesnt mean anything to pep as noone likes city
