It would be fun to win this.

3 points here and I think we have all the momentum and Arsenal drop something vs Forest.
Drop points though and we won’t be getting a guard of honour by the time we play Arsenal (perhaps ambitious anyway).

We’re not winning this. Gut feeling. Hope we don’t drop all three points.

City have been destroyed by Arsenal and Real Madrid, the only top-tier teams they have faced lately.

Our recent inability to keep clean sheets is an obvious concern but their defence is even more porous than ours, so we really should be scoring at least a couple.

Unfortunately, I fear that the ref will have the final say in this one. I’m sure we all remember Doku’s assault on Mac last season, which went unpunished.

Yeah I feel the same unfortunately. I expect there will be ‘incidents’ and we’ll also get a red card and or injury too.

I wish I could see us winning. Recent performances leave little room for optimism though. City might prove more fragile and self-destructive than us, but realistically another draw seems the more likely result.

Unfortunately, I have the feeling that the unbeaten run away from home is coming to an end on Sunday.

A draw is fine

I’m sure that Arne and his team will know the personnel, formation and tactics to see us through this game. COYR YNWA :+1:

After the last three results, I think a draw is not fine. Unfortunately, if we want to have this in our hands, we have to beat both City and Newcastle.
Two very avoidable draws brings us in this situation now.
If Arsenal do us any favours, then obviously this changes, but see how it’s already a hypothetical sentence that depends on others.

We have to lose one (something we haven’t done in five months), or draw another two, games for Arsenal to be in a position where the title is in their hands, given they still have to play us at Anfield. And that’s based upon them winning their game in hand.

The amount of overreaction to every dropped point on this forum - not just by you, I hasten to add - is ridiculous.

A manc referee and a cunt on VAR who is happy to see our players assaulted whenever he’s involved. Fantastic.
Hope I’m wrong but I think we’ll drop more points. Is it ok to say that ? It seems a long time since we’ve had a statement win in the PL, especially away from home.

Looks like Haaland is out.
Draw for me.

Stop being a bunch of fucking cowards. These are absolutely shite. We’ll twat them.

Does the spanking they received last night help or harm our chances ?

Does the spanking we received last night help or harm our chances? I have it on good authority that we’ve been thrashed 2-2 twice in a week now, bookending a devastating loss to Wolves.

I would have thought harm. They really have little to play for (cf. previous seasons) and may not be up for it. On the other hand, Pep may want to stop Liverpool although I’m not sure how chummy he is with LegoMan these days so probably not motivated to ‘help’ them. As always with teams out of form, the key is getting a foot on their throat and then calmly exerting pressure

I was hoping for extra time, but we should still be favourites going into the game.

By the way, I’m away this weekend so I won’t be able to do the post match poll. Someone else can have a go.

Preferably someone who can put it in the correct section, ta.
