PreMatch | ManUnited vs Liverpool | Sunday April 7th 15:30h

Don’t be silly but go at them, if we had hit them for a 3rd in that period after half time they would have fallen apart.

I just knew as I typed it, felt I’d make it worse deleting it……

Revenge should be the main reason to rack up a hockey score here…

Happy with a comfortable 2-0 or 3-0 with no injuries, cards or controversy. Dont think we’re winning the title on goal difference

No it shouldn’t.
The main motivation should be trying to get the best possible result for the club.

which is racking up the GD…

Unless it’s to Utd players.

Don’t they still have to play Arsenal though? Maybe after they take points off them…

Reminds me about how last night he at one point approached the penalty area, did his trademark steps and the defender simply nicked the ball.

More of this on Sunday please.

Endo, Mac and Jones should allow us to dominate their midfield and sustain our press. On 60 mins can add Elliott to refresh. Too bad Jota not fit yet.

That’s been a problem this whole season, instead we’ve been conceding early far too many times and I don’t see that changing for this game. Plus we have Anthony Taylor to make things more difficult. I don’t see us getting all 3 points.

Not sure where to put this but the world’s oldest man is a Liverpool fan.

Congrats @cynicaloldgit

Starting Lineup:

Kelleher
Bradley Konate VvD Robertson
Szoboszlai Endo MacAllister
Salah Nunez Diaz

At 60 minutes after having at least 2 goals lead:

Kelleher
Gomez Konate VvD Robertson
Szoboszlai Endo Jones
Salah Nunez Diaz

After 75 minutes after having at least 2 goals lead:

Kelleher
Gomez Konate VvD Robertson
Elliott Endo Jones
Danns Nunez Gakpo

That’s how I will rotate the squad for the run in, assuming there is no injury forced substitution.

Casemiro has been awful this season. It’s clear to anyone with eyes that he no longer has the legs to play the game at this level. Mctominay SHOULD be a God-send for us, as he and Bruno both leave massive gaping holes in midfield that we should be able to take advantage of. The downside of that is that they can hit us quickly in transition if we lose the ball cheaply, so…don’t do that.

United are playing Maguire and a teenager at CB.

No excuses - we need to be winning this clearly and comfortably.

Surely if they’re doing that they’re likely to be parking the bus, which is always a challenge especially at their rotting stadium?

As long as we don’t keep chipping it in to get a header because frankly Sheffield United nulled that threat.

We’re now getting to the business part of the season. Critical games against Utd, the bitters and villa.
For Utd, thwarting Liverpool is a high point in an otherwise uninspiring season. Just shows how low they have fallen. We can’t afford to give away easy goals. At the same time we must be ruthless when given opportunities. Can’t wait for Jota to return so that Salah can be relegated to the subs bench. That’s not to say that Mo is not a great player, which he clearly is. But our best performances have come without him. Jota is more of a team player with high intelligence. His goals-to-chances ratio is high and he also creates opportunities for other players.
