Which performances are you referring to? In our worst performance of the season (3-1 loss to Arsenal) there was no Salah and Jota started
Regardless, this will be a difficult game…
This is a side of yours I wasn’t very aware of.
A clear sign the stakes are getting high and even the funniest lads find a moment to get serious…
My point, which is up for discussion, is that Salah unbalances the attack, is greedy and misses most of his chances. Additionally his penalties don’t inspire confidence. Jota, on the other hand, can play in the same position, scores a higher percentage of chances and also creates for other players. Over to you.
This is going to get some heavy usage against @Flobs
Salah is our best striker, top scorer for years. If he scores ALL his chances he is on 80 goals a season. No one does that.
He doesn’t unbalance the forward line. His record of assists is testament to that.
The only sensible argument you make is on his penalties. But even then its not a reason to bench him.
If Jota is fit it gives us options. But at the moment not starting our best forward is not an option.
Jota has started 3 times on the right in the last 2 years. When he doesn’t start centrally hes started on the left.
We need a bit of savvy on Sunday and not get done like the cup game, I know many of us think we do things differently than Klopp in certain games, if I was in charge Sunday I would be going 442 , Kelleher, Gomez, Konate, Virgil, Robertson, Bradley, Szoboslai, Endo, MacAllister, Nunez, Diaz. But what do I know just a silly old fool.
Big ask of McGuire to play another 90mins so soon… We got this :0)
Well, if nothing else, the caf are very optimistic about the game:
“Yeah, we’re not winning this.”
“Let’s just take the 3-0 forfeit loss.”
“With these weak players and clown coach, it’s feeling like Ole again. Might just skip this”
“Miracles don’t happen twice within a month.”
“Look what we have become. Only motivation we can find is to put a dent in our arch rival’s trophy ambitions again.”
Sometimes it’s the hope that kills ya.
Ladies and gentlemen, Liverpool will be playing four, four, fucking, two.
I know they are having an injury crisis but check out the defending for the fourth goal at the end.
Blimey. An absolute coach killer.
The thing that I’m worried about is OT and the atmosphere. Regardless, we need to get it done on the pitch and get outta there.
I approve. Let’s ‘av eet.
It looked more like a 5-3-2 with 3 CB, Robbo and Bradley. A little ol’ schoo’ Evans like. Nunez and Diaz with the classic big man-little man combo. ManUtd won’t know what’s hit them…
Flobs has been pivotal to our season, maybe it’s time to show some respect…
And if we win it, he has to get the recognition he deserves.
And no more Superstitious Bollocks shenanigans then.
THIS!

Let’s twat these fuckers on our way to 20.
Those are my only thoughts.
