I’m struggling to watch with a really crap stream but the few seconds i’ve seen we’ve been awful.

Not in the game at all. It’s dominated by Newcastle except for the shots by Mac. Only because we are down by one, we now get a chance to get back in the 2nd half.

Odd choice starting Quansah at right back and Gomez centre back.
Completely outplayed in the midfield. Ball retention atrocious and they’re just walking through us.
Front three anonymous. No hold up play, no pressing, no threat.
Really odd half from us and a big test for Slot now because they have their tails up a d the crowd behind them.

Our lads are a bit shit tonight so far, aren’t they? Very nice goal from Newcastle, but we haven’t had much goalmouth action ourselves, and look quite toothless. Hopefully Slot and his lads will find an answer to that, fingers crossed!

Need to be a bit quicker at the back in getting the ball forward. We are inviting pressure and they are smothering us. Just lob it and let Cody, Darwin and Mo deal with it
Agree. The amount of possession we are losing its insane. Glad we are only 1 down. We should equalise and Slot hasn’t been shy in bringing in the subs and changing tactics.
Slot has to freshen things up, he can´t just use the same players every 3 or 4 days, that is not working. And he should start to give Endo more minutes as well, otherwise we are dead at Christmas.

With Endo not being fancied and Harvey recovering from injury, we have been playing basically with 4 players for 3 positions. This would;ve been a good time to rotate, especially with Everton early kick off on Saturday.
Newcastle press has caused us issues. We started to look long in the final few minutes to avoid it. Only a goal in it, so all to play for.
Need to be careful with 3 yellows though.
