PreMatch | Nottingham Forest vs Liverpool | FA Cup Quarter Final | Sunday March 20th 18:00h | City Ground

He is a fantastic keeper who we’ll prob have to loan out next season. Hopefully to another PL team. For me he gets into 6-7 premier league sides

The draw is on before our game, aprox 5.30.

Assuming that we get through and City also get through, it would be great to draw Everton/Palace in the semi and have City have to focus on Chelsea.

Just out out interest does anybody know how Chelseas allocation works for these games now.

So if we drew chelsea, woth them not being able to sell any tickets would we get the 100% allocation for Wembley?

We would hope so…but somehow someway…like the ‘3’ shirts yesterday…they would find a way of getting fans in…would it be season ticket holders only…that would be my guess…

But the ban on sales doesn’t allow them to sell any further tickets.

They only allow STH at home games because those tickets are purchased in advance. That’s why they only had 600 away fans yesterday. They shouldn’t have any fans for the CL or FA cup going forward

He will be a starting keeper for most sides apart from the top 3. Hes better than ramsdale.

And no ‘3’ shirts…

Ye although they can’t spend money on removing the 3 from their current shirts so I’m not really sure how that happens

I’d disagree with this, Ramsdale has been very good this year in my opinion (shit for the Jota goal) but hey Ho

Exactly. So that means a semi-final against Manchester City would be played in front of no fans, seeing City don’t have any, and would hand the Manchester club an unfair advantage.

It is true there is an international break right after this game. But is also true that some of our players play demanding (two) World Cup qualifying matches, especially Salah, Mane and probably Jota. Diaz and Fabinho probably as well (although Brazil is qualified already and Colombia only has a small chance of making it to Qatar). It is a relief Robbo does not play the qualifiers but he and most of the others will be involved in friendlies (hopefully to a much lesser extent). I certainly would not play Salah or Mane in this game. Matip played last three matches in full, so he earned a rest today.

Trent’s injury is a big blow, but let’s hope he is back before the Etihad clash, Klopp will find a solution. He stated that Alisson and Gomez start tonight - the latter either at CB or at RB. And I would also say that Tsimikas and Milner both start if they are ready (if not, Klopp will turn to Robbo and Hendo), as well as the likes of Konate, Jones, Keita and Firmino.

So it is a strong lineup made of a mix of starters and bench players who need minutes. I am a little surprised Klopp will opt for Alisson today as I think Kelleher deserved another chance in this cup. But Jürgen knows best and he probably wants some security with changed back four.

Alisson
Gomez Konate VVD Kostas
Keita Milner Jones
Minamino Firmino Jota

Subs: Kelleher Bradley Henderson Robertson Fabinho Elliott Matip Diaz Origi

Strong team, strong bench. Ideally we’re 3-0 up after 60, VVD comes off with Bradley getting the last 30.
Loads of bench options if it’s going badly.

Yeah, one of you fucker are being very lazy.

got busy trying to get an old laptop to work. reinstalling windows etc etc

Actually, my bad, I think its 20 mins before release of official team.

Why is klopp starting him. ? Ffs

Worries me when we have more than 2/3 changes and bring Squad players in .
The likes of minimino Ox Bradley even Origi Gomez and Jones .
I like a settled 11 .
Keep the back 4 settled if possible ,losing Trent is a big blow .
If we can pick from the usual but no kids in please
