On todays evidence Anderson is far from what we need
Mac is a wonderful player and is just one of many way off form. When that is happening with so many so often you’re looking in wrong place if you try to fix that with signings/sales

Macca has been a really good player for us but this season he has been way below what we’ve grown accustomed to. I suspect he is pacing himself for the World Cup where I’m sure he will do well. He has been brilliant for Argentina for a few years. They have played virtually all year round for a few years now, and I think Macca’s drop off is at least partly due to that, as well as the wider struggle this season at Liverpool.
