Entertaining but we can’t keep conceding every chance.
Is this half ever going to end? WTF?
honestly what do you expect… we left our defense at home tbf
we just have to try to score a bit more
Weird night so far. Villa were 2-0 up against Celtic inside 5 mins and cruising. It’s now 2-2 at the half. City are losing, Arse have had to come from behind to lead 2-1 in Girona. Will be a lot of mad results.
Chiesa to be the hero
Same time that the guys in front of him did.
This is going to end 5-6 to us isn’t it?
Be good to get 1 of Kostas/Robbo off…maybe a straight swap Kostas for Norris.
& Nyoni for Harvey. Gakpo doesn’t really need to be out there either, release Trent.
Seems inevitable.
So we’re currently getting the winner of Feyenoord Vs Benfica but dropping to second would mean the the winner of Brugge Vs PSG?
Is that right?
barca still tied. they need to win to win the group
There was a deflection, you could see the ball spinning
Our make shift defense is what it is but theirs isn’t much better. Get a feeling we will score every time we put them under a little bit of pressure
Reassuringly, Salzburg are still shit
at least i`ve got a new stream from some stranger on the beep, he probably felt sorry for me
As the game has drawn on, I’ve become increasing pissed off at the team selection. We shouldn’t be playing Andy Robertson at Centre Back.
If we’re not arsed about the result, play Nallo. At least it’s an investment in a young player. We don’t get anything at all from playing Robbo there, except a very porous defence that PSV can just run through.
It’s fun watching a game when the result doesn’t matter
Getting the Arne Slot derby in his first season sounds about right. After all we had the Jürgen Klopp derby in 2015-16.
Even worse, we end up having the problem where unless he’s planning on playing Norris, at least one of those two will be playing the full 90.
HT 3-2:
A weird first half. Our lads were absolutely bossing the game, scored the first goal very deservedly. Then, PSV get the equalizer out of nothing on their first real chance. We continue to boss the game, score the second, but again, get the 2-2 on their second chance. The game started to turn from then, as if our lads had started to doubt their capability to contain PSV. Then, ten seconds before the break, they score the third goal on their third chance.
What can you do? I think that our lads had a very good half all in all, but they were a bit naive in key moments. And PSV have shown that they are a good, dangerous team, which knows how to take its chances. Their breaks on the counter are frighteningly quick.
I’m intrigued to see how this will go on. It’s interesting to see how our young team reacts to this setback. Hopefullythey’ll find their confidence back. They certainly can win this game if they play like during the first 30 minutes. Fingers crossed!
