PreMatch | Southampton vs Liverpool | PL Matchday 37 | Tuesday May 17th 19:45h | St. Mary’s Stadium

Will Ox ever play for us again?

Not far off what I thought.

Those injuries to Fab, Mo and Virgil have likely highlighted just how far into the red some of these guys are. No point having a squad if we aren’t going to use them when needs dictate. Still at least one massive game to come after this one, can’t have them all dead on their feet for that one.

Only if the tea lady fails a fitness test.

That’s the defense and midfield I predicted. Slightly surprised Origi doesnt start, but he might yet have another iconic goal in him from the bench.

Evidently he is leaving, I’d rather play those who are not. Don’t buy the shop window rubbish.

If you are a football club buying players like that then you’ve not upgraded on your fifa for about 10 years.

No and so he shouldn’t, he’s a waste of space.

This is me after reading the team sheet.

On the other hand, I understand why Jurgen has done it, to save the key players for Champions league final. Quadruple is impossible at this stage, in my view.

Fuck off with this. He was a decent player for us his first couple of years here. He’s declined massively due to injuries and other factors, but no need to call him a waste of space. Have a word with yourself, please.

Shitty supporters and Pep will be delighted with our team.

Totally understand the lineup and the reasons why, other than Keita not starting who only played 70 minutes on Saturday.

I’ll admit I’m not confident of the win now. We do have some good options from the bench so fingers crossed :crossed_fingers:

He’s had like a good half season in his time here and that’s it, rest of it he’s either injured or benched.

There’s a reason why the quad has never been done…it’s hard and it kills your squads fitness.

Aye. No point having having 20+ senior players if you dont use them in situations like this. Every player has earned his shot at this, even the lesser fancied ones like Taki, so lets just sit back and watch them deliver.

Was expecting Naby to start, but happy with the line up. We have the quality to win this.

All this talk of big balls from Klopp is overblown in my opinion. Would be bigger balls to risk the fitness of the key players with a CL final looming. We have enough off the bench if we need it.

Come on you reds.

Depends if Soton show up or they play like they have.

Quadruple is still on, but obviously not in our hands. Win this and it’s only a point going into the last game.

All to play for.

We have a great squad. Klopp is using it! A few knocks and several really needing a rest.

Time for others to shine!

And they will. Three points please.

Saving it for the league-winning goal, and the Champions League-winning goals.

He needs to keep his goal-to-minute ratio up, so I hope he’s up to scoring 9 goals tonight…

It’s really hard to make the case that this person isn’t just a troll…

Other managers wouldn’t give a fuck. Would tell their players to play through the pain. Risk their health. Not talking only about dinosaurs like Allardyce but also Pep for example. I am sure de Bruyne takes a lot painkillers to get through a season.

We all know Klopp likes to talk. Talks about everything. Not everything seems to make sense but tonight once again he proves he is a man of his words. The human being comes first.

I am sure it’s not even about the CL final. He knows how important it is to send his players healthy into a summer break.
