Thatās the killer isnāt it ; a good win tonight or even a couple of good results will swiftly be followed by another setback. If thereās one thing you can safely predict about this season itās that we are incapable of going on any kind of a winning run.

Well, apart from the first 5 games where we were thinking, āthis will be an unstopable team once they settle inā¦ā
The thing is, I have been seeing improvements. But for every improvement, we seem prone to panicking and doing something utterly brain-dead in every match.

Iād take that in a heartbeat. I think given where we are with the squad and injuries, we could do without the additional pressure of an FA Cup run

Why? What are we actually playing for at the moment?
We had a week off and looked worse for it. It doesnāt particularly eat into our schedule as the Semis are the only round that have pencilled in Premier League games.

I donāt think we have the squad for the additional games. The squad is on the bones of its arse, and I think getting in the CL overrides all other concerns.
3 additional games, might as well knock ourselves out of the CL as well.
Actually why bother with league games, we should have forfeited tonights because its an extra midweek game in a busy schedule.

Iād also like to say that I think Arne could do well with taking a leaf out of JĆ¼rgenās playbook and go for broke on the kids in the FA Cup if need be.
JĆ¼rgen learnt his lesson in 2021-22, with Phillips and Williams. Will Arne?

If it took Jurgen that long to realise that you can rely on limited footballers with heart to do a job then itāll never happen for Slot. Slot doesnāt have the balls to even give them a start. Endo is a prime example of this. We know he isnāt super technical etc but heāll put 100% into a 2nd ball duel. That is what we need in the team right now.
You could see us stripped back to the barest of bones in a position and heād much rather a player pulled fron elsewhere that he likes.
