Bobby should be fit, he stayed home during the break. Jones is on the bench for the U21’s tonight. Still no news that Trent won’t be fit for this one.

Firmino has been on for 32 in the last three matches
I don’t think he is an issue, we won’t know about the others until they start showing training on the main site.
We probably only know for sure the status of players on internationals and those long term.
Wanted Bobby in from the start instead of Jota anyway, since City. Hope he starts against Watford, but of course I also hope Jota is fit as soon as possible.

Given the way that just about everything has seemingly conspired against us in the run-up to this fixture , I’m seeing nothing but dropped points. Definitely a doubter for this one.

What is going on with Alisson and Fab? I understood there was an exemption from the quarantine for vaccinated players.
I guess Fab might miss out just on the basis that it’s a pretty tight turnaround, but I think Klopp would put Alisson in if he’s fit.
They play effectively Friday morning here and they have played in two of the countries that are still exempt as I believe from today.
One saving grace is that next time it shouldn’t be an issue.
Can’t see Alisson getting off a plane on Friday evening and playing Saturday morning to be honest.

Yeah I don’t think the goalkeeper vs outfield player will make a difference, I don’t think they’ll play. We’ll just have to put our best possible team together out there (it will still be a damn strong side) and try and avoid a Ranieri banana slip.
Just seems unlikely, I know he is probably more used to it but when I returned on that Brazilian flight I slept for a day

Jones played 40 mins and assisted so I assume it was just a knock.
Good thing is that it looks like Kelleher might get his first start for Ireland tomorrow (was part of their press conference today), hopefully helps him rhythm wise also as preparation for Saturday.

There was a thing about whoever opened match day threads continuing until a loss. It was really just a bit of fun, and as @Mascot pointed out really made no difference…
I usually waited till Tuesday to open the thread, as I am a bit superstitious in an OCD sort of way.
Hence my annoyance when the thread was opened by @GermanRed.
Does it make any difference to the team? No.
Is there an etiquette on a fans forum? Obviously not.
Did it play havoc with my superstitions? Yes.
Was it an opportunity for a piss take at my expense? Yes, obviously!
