Premier League 2020/21 (Part 1)

It’s a microcosm of what social media has created; cannot see beyond the next game with the last game being the one and only indicator of anything. Its all pretty pathetic, really.

Didn’t our defence cost us the title last season?

To be honest it’s all Tyler could go on about until about the time it looked like we were champions at which point he then moved on to Firmino’s goal drought at home.

It’s hard to judge that Everton team that played against Spurs, they have WBA next which won’t tell us much either.

Tsk, Tsk. Replying in correct thread

Yeah sure, we won’t see the same heights of spending than during the last transfer windows. But still, that money coming in will be handy for clubs and you can see things moving in the player market now.

I think a lot of clubs have already done there deals, there was a point on loans and I think those who haven’t moved will do so now, I noted since the Messi stuff City went a bit silent so expect them to maybe ramp it up now, unless they are playing it clever.

Klopp did say the club would do stuff later this year and I think that will be seen to happen.

I do wonder if Thiago and Bale at Spurs are most connected to this tv deal being agreed, effectively the transfer fee of Thiago is covered by us featuring on about 10 games if I remember the figures rightly.

Anyhow after today I’m confident we might be able to do it again.

I think the Thiago fee could equally be covered by some of the loan fees we are likely to pick up.

Jorge Mendes’ little Football Manager project… :joy:

You know what lads? I think we’re winning this cunt.

Copied and edited @CymruRed list, because I am lazy.

My bet is early-mid December title parade down by the Albert Docks

Popping the points record too!

WBA 1-0 up against Everton. Loved the goal, but that’s some absurd defending there. Absolutely no closing down from the entire midfield!

But Everton won the transfer cup how can they be losing

Don’t tell them about Thiago and Jota.

Everton need a new goalie, or Pickford needs arm extensions.

Nearly gifted WBA a goal in the first minute and then failed to stop a shot that most goalies would’ve go to. One nil West Brom.

Ev look good going forward though.

They’re better off putting James Rodríguez in goal.

How dare you speak such blasphemy against the best midfield world football!

Bitters certainly move it around better form the game and a bit I’ve seen this year. Defensively they are a bit ropey and T Rex arms is an issue I’ll bet old Carlo addresses before the window closes.
