What a difference an appropriate rest time between the games can make.
Still think we were robbed against Brighton. No reason why this game could not be Saturday afternoon / evening.
And this weekend
More shocking than the yellow against Coady not given was the yellow card against Neco in the second!!! minute of the game.
Soft foul. We had enough other players to cover. No tactical or intentional foul. They get their free kick in a dangerous position. Why the fuck does Pawson book Neco for that? A warning early in the game would be enough for the kid.

Did Partey just walk off? I’ve only seen the highlights and assumed he was injured but it seems people are saying he just decided he couldn’t be bothered anymore?

I think if Partey had done the same thing playing for Liverpool under Shanks, Paisley Dalglish or Klopp etc, that would’ve been his last appearance. Something about him suggests to me he thinks he’s better than he actually is.

I mean, he was definitely injured, only a few seconds later he was taken off and has seemingly suffered a recurrence of the injury he was rushed back from. Why he wandered off, I don’t know, but maybe he just felt he needed to come of asap rather than aggravate the issue.
