I tell you, aside from the Everton and Leeds wins, they haven’t played all that well in their recent purple patch. And while grinding out wins every week was the backbone of our title push last year, you can’t just be lucky all the time. They are right in the hunt this year and could win it, but I do think that their results will start to regress to the mean at some point.
I actually think this sets things up interestingly for our clash. They’re the form team, the pundits will be all over them, so we arguably go into it with the away team fancying something. Meanwhile, we’re the wounded animal.
If they get something from the game against us, it’s bound to be Fernandes and his buck teeth from the spot.

Nah, I think he’s OK, but his biggest mistake might have been scoring a hat-trick against the Champions on his first start. Can’t ever live up to expectations after that.

After looking at the penalty again, it’s obvious that Pogba trips himself up and there is no contact with the Villa player. If I can see that, why can’t VAR? It’s a clear and obvious error by Oliver. Notice how quick he was to point to the spot.

The fact is if we got penalties anywhere near as soft as those cunts do, we’d be ten clear. I’ve seen Salah literally have his legs scythed from under him in the box and the ref just play on. It’s bent as fuck.
That said, our player do need to get a lot cannier at playing the referee. We’re too soft.
