Pogba is such an asshole. What an absolute fake. Goes down like he was shot in the face.
Heâs a blagger. Fair fucks to him for soaking United for 100M plus his weekly salary.
CuntsâŠ
The worrying thing about Cityâs run is five clean sheets in a row and 3 goals allowed in 10 matches. The thing that did them in last year was defending. If theyâve truly sorted that, then they will be very tough, but they still havenât yet played their 19th match, so miles to goâŠ
This night keeps giving hope then stealing it away again.
Iâm going to stop watching now
Agreed. Iâm just not in the right frame of mind for this at the moment.
Think people forgot a little bit that theyâre still a pretty damn good side. Spent the season so far having less games than others. Some issues at the start, but slowly raising their form again.
Ironically, perhaps Manchester United should have had a penalty, or at least, that is what the studio guy in Norway is saying, as Loftus Cheek apparently was on Fredâs foot. I didnât see it though as I have not been watching the game (will watch the second half).
As weâre approaching the halfway point of the league I thought Iâd do a team of the season so far. Who would be in yours?
Kane Ings
Grealish Fernandes Ndombele Son
Cancello Dias Fofana Lamptey
Martinez
Was on the fence with Ndombele and Lamptey
It doesnât really matter that he miscued it though. He tried to play the ball and you canât reward someone for messing upâŠPlayed onside by the defender playing it has always been the rule⊠unless it is a very obvious deflection where there was no attempt to play it but it cannoned off the defender.
The problem is that our form is not yet in sight. I wouldnât be that afraid of City if I knew we would find top form for 8-10 games, but without it, several teams are better than us right at this very moment. But if we find form in the next game (or take 3 points so that we have more time to find form), then we are still in a position to challenge both City and United. But if that doesnât happen, well frankly, both City and United are better than us at the moment. So yeah, this is a very precarious time for us. We need results to start going a bit our way, but more importantly, we need to win several games a row.
That is stupid though. You are rewarding the defenderâs error. The ball is played to the attacker who is offside. The defender obviously will try and cut it out as he doesnât know the attacker is offside. So you are rewarding the attackerâs mistake.
I read this post, looked at the poster name and thought typical. I might have guessed who.
Donât jinx it, FFS
That is rewarding the attackerâs error.
The rule as it stands is against the spirit in which it was introduced. The argument that the attacking player has no advantage in that scenario is ludicrous.
I think the referee will have to intervene in the 2nd half, to ensure the Mancs win the game.
United will win this. Fulham will run out of steam
I agree with youâŠOnce you get a situation where players and coaches donât understand it, then you know it is a messâŠ
Iâm starting to believe in this shit!
FWIW
Hereâs what former Premier League referee Peter Walton made of Manchester Cityâs first goal on BT Sport:
"My initial thoughts were as Mings played the ball, it wasnât a deliberate play on the ball, so therefore, didnât play the player onside.
"However, the law says: 'A player in an offisde position, receiving the ball from an opponent who deliberately plays the ball, is NOT to be considered to have gained an advantage.â
"Therefore, Mings playing the ball deliberately - and we can see that he does that when he chests the ball - plays the Manchester City player onside, even though he is in an offside position. So therefore, the goal should stand.
âRodri wasnât gaining an advantage by being where he was, thatâs the law and the fact that Mings makes a deliberate play on the ball, negates the fact that the player was in an offside position.â
Donât give a fuck what they say, we score that goal it gets disallowed. Simple as that.
