Anyone got any pics of a trophy for beating us?

Even crueler that the circumstances made the win feel nothing like I ever expected it would. Cosmically, I feel cheated.

Just to cheer everyone up a little. City winning 5-0.

That is more PL goals than we have so far in 2021.

Anyone but utd, I have a few utd friends and the crap :poop: they talk is unreal, I don’t know any city fans or even if they have any so I wouldn’t have to listen to any crap.

Just checked in the vain hope West Brom might provide stubborn resistance. Nope!

Half the season gone and Man City very much look the team to beat in the league. We need to regroup to solidify top four and hopefully a title challenge.

Man Utd won’t win the league.
Man City won’t win the CL.

Small comfort.

This is my argument.

I honestly know one City fan and he lives in Frankston, Victoria…just down the road from @Redbj

Have you ever seen them in the same place at the same time

City win it it’s kind of expected - cheat cheat.

United win it with that team and that manager and it will be a crime.

But I haven’t ruled us out of it yet, even though it looks incredibly difficult.

We would never hear the end of Solksjaer greatness , if I thought they were actually good I’d hand it to them but I’ve watched them twice against us and against Man City and I’ve not been impressed, I think they are pretty limited and that back line is terrible, in fact it’s as bad as ours with a 19 year old and a midfielder in it.

If we had put a bit more pressure on it and I think we’ve had won, we certainly would at Anfield.

To be honest I think we are performing far lower than I feel we are capable of, we were up to the Palace game performing 2pts every game if we could get that back we would be fine for top 4, think once you fall this far behind Man City mind it’s very hard to claw back especially as we are still not sure where our next goal is coming from let alone win.

While this is true, I must reiterate something I posted earlier: given fair arbitration, we can swap places with Man U in the table. Not saying we’d be ahead of City, however.

At the risk of sounding like a scratched record, we would have at least six points more and United about six points fewer with objective, as opposed to subjective, referees.

Still the last five games concern me, you can’t put that down to refs. Up the game last Sunday I was looking at how we played and scratching my head. I don’t think I’ve felt so relieved to see a goal go in as I was with Salah’s.

Those five games had been even 50/50 we would be in the title race.

Every single match matters in the league, especially when the margins for error are so thin.

It just takes one or two fixed results to make all the difference-see 2013/14 (City and Chelsea over Christmas) and 2018/19.

who?

i play at seaford and the joints littered with them.

hahaha

Tim Parnacott. Not sure he’d be playing anything…he was a fat old geezer ten years ago!

He’s old school, his entire family is City, born and raised there, followed them for decades.

Sounds like an Everton reserve keeper.

Is he?

never heard of him.

City top and that’s where they’ll stay now.

Look at the teams we’ve dropped points to of late.

Newcastle…no win in 12…hardly any points yet we couldn’t beat them.
WBA - 4 points since fat Sam took over…1 from us.
Southampton…one win in 7…yes, against us.
Burnley…in a bit of form for them and took all 3.

I sincerely hope that Jürgen doesn’t think along the same lines.
