VERY. The missus went to Naples for work a few years back and she was warned multiple times about the pickpocketing and theft there.
Apologies not accepted!
Everton last season, Aston Villa this season. When will this injustice end?
When the oil dries up.
And who is always the beneficiary … a Manchester team. Over the years It went from United to Cheaty and probably to both soo.
Except it didn’t cost them a win…if it is referring to the Coutinho “goal”. Clickbait
It might have, it might not have.
What the fuck?! Let him spend all that money and not give him a proper chance?
Bit of an odd one!
Not that we care, or anything.
Of course but just stupid.
I dont think there is any position in the world where the incentives are greater for getting yourself sacked. We know Tuchel has been frustrated by the situation caused by the Abramovic sanctions, and there is a presumption from many fans that because Bohely then spent a lot of money that Tuchel was being satisfied. But there is guarantee any of it was aligned with what he wanted. It’s very easy to imagine a growing tension behind the scenes between him and his new boss, and as the window closed he looked at his prospects and just threw in the towel and decided he’d rather get sacked and paid out now than spend a season working hard to finish 6th.
It was the lino who got the decision wrong.
Even though the ref can overrule his judgement and wait for the phase of play before blowing up, more often than not when lino flags, the refs blows.
It seems to me the lino’s take it upon themselves to pick and choose when they raise their flag during an attack…that or it’s a lack of coaching.
All season they keep their flags down for blatant offsides and let play resolve itself…and this lino picks a non-offside to raise a flag. In favour of a team that gets regular favourable calls.
For offsides they think are clear they are now instructed to raise it immediately, even if there is a goal scoring opportunity. For cones that are more boirderline they are told to wait until the goal scoring opportunity is over before they raise their flag. Importantly, that doesnt have to mean the defending team wins the ball back. Given how far behind phil the ball was played and how many defenders he had between him and the goal at that time you can see why the lino would treat this as a marginal call on a play without a clear goal scoring opportunity.
He got it wrong. Badly wrong in retrospect. It happens and has always happened, hence the need to introduce VAR into the situation. This exact sort of situation is exactly what you create when you demand the more conservative approach from previous seasons that sees the flag stay down and defenders forced to continue to defend even when its clearly offside, which is what I thought we were all demanding.
I think the people ahve to accept is that the more you use VAR the more obstructive it is. And when you dont like that and find ways to use it less you open the door to more bad decisions from the on pitch officials. It’s a balance, and whenever there is a balance to strike it means accepting some small number of bad outcomes for an overall net improvement.
Funny that when it’s southern fans affected by travel issues they’ll postpone the game but if it’s northern teams they do fuck all
Eh, that’s just odd?
Suppose it’s a direct line out to Falmer but I reckon a fair few teams will look at this and wonder. Then again Palace will probably fancy it if Potter moves on.
Total distance between the two grounds is a maximum of 40miles…!!
Not sure how they have managed to get the match called off…
Seems like the PL make the rules up as they go
