A Europa run would be fun next season. I generally prefer it to the Champions League when watching as a neutral, feels a little more expressive and less toxic, though I’d be excited to see Napoli and Benfica go deeper this season, hope they play with the dynamism they do in their respective leagues, especially Benfica; Roger Schmidt has them playing lovely, but he has a tendency to speculate against stronger sides and it could bite him (eg, vs Porto on Friday).
Anyway, yeah, Europa would be a welcome refreshment.

But they are playing for top 4, they are on for the PL.
If they were to win 6 of their remaining 9 they are still topping 90pts and yet it still might not be enough.
Also it’s likely that you will need 70pts+ for CL not sure how that aligns but it’s more than we got in 2021, in fact Chelsea were on 67.
