Wild scoreboard style analysis in the us.Arsenal get away with one here. After having already hit the post and had one disallowed by a finger nail, in a game they were competing well in, controversial refereeing turned a likely 1-1 into a 2-0. Spurs then fought back to nearly level it and the analysis is how this demonstrates arsenal strength having well beaten spurs
Credit for getting the job done, and being ruthless in establishing a 3 goal lead in an even game but they definitely got away with one today

Well so much for Spurs winning their last 6 games and stealing a CL spot.

As dislikeable as they are, there is one enormous thing in their favour. They’re not Man City.

They could win their last 5 3-0 each and we lose our games 0-3.
They’d edge us on GD.
Oh, and Villa would have to win all their games too.
Seems unlikely.
Unlikely?
We won’t deserve it if that happens.
Not the best but it is the most competitive.
is it though, with city winning pretty much every other year

shit defending from city and they get away with it
In what way? Same club has won 5 of the last 6 because it is the richest club in the league. That could be Bundesliga or PL, neither of which are as competitive as La Liga or Serie A. It is still atop the UEFA coefficients, but will lose ground this year.

Paradox…this city just really aren’t that good. Today it feels like forest are going to get something from this game. Yet they are apparently in the midst of a club record run of going unbeaten across all competitions
