Premier League 2023/24 (Part 2)

There is a lot to like about Eze but he just doesn’t influence a game enough for me. I’m ok with Chelsea buying him for £100m to get 5 goals and 4 assists in a season.

Oh, Ayew…so close

Palace 3 good chances ffs

Ayew kidding me.

Should be 2-1 up. Could have released the two to his left a second before he shot.

Ederson the nose picker…eeeerkkk…and spitter…dirty boy

Not quite playing out the way it felt at 20’, but not sure that is entirely down to Palace. This City side is more error-prone than previous incarnations. What Palace has done reasonably well is put hard contact on to City every time they get a chance within the rules, and the City players are not enjoying it

FFS, that was a foul, in the box

That was a penalty and a very quick VAR check, to dismiss it.

More chance to counter without him playing. He is very fast off his line, something that Ortega is not as proficent at.

Thought so.
Obviously biased!, but thats a foul.

Isn’t that a clear foul by Man City.?

Bizarre how the commentary said it would be given if he had been moving on the ball more aggressively. So a foul is ok if it is pre-emptive enough?

3v1 and Ayew takes a shot there, then minutes later gives a terrible pass across with loads of options available. Hopefully Olise has a decent amount of time in him so we don’t have to watch this clown for much longer.

Joint MotM referee Paul Tierney and VAR Stuart Attwell

Good process boys.

The Crystal Palace right back Daniel Munoz has swapped shirts with Erling Haaland at half time.

Crazy. Really annoying stuff for manager and supporters to deal with.

A nice early counter goal from Mateta. Then Shitty (and in particular, KdB) took over.

KdB giving out chances everywhere, then a good strike to make it 1-1.

Place had three counter chances: 1. the goal; 2. messed up an easy pass to the free player on the left; 3. Ayew hitting hte top of the bar, but had two free players to his left.

And the half ended with a pen shout (obviosuly not going to be given to Palace) and an Ortega save when Rodri sold him short.

What does this all mean? Probably SHitty will score 3 in 5 minutes. Oh well.

What is that even meant to mean?

It’s a foul. In the box. Therefore, it’s a penalty.

Unless it’s Manchester City.

It’s surprising that Palace isn’t one of the clubs getting relegated.

That’s that then.

Not in doubt after the equaliser. This is like the hundredth away match this season where they trailed and won in the end.
