Premier League 2024/25

This is a very unusual season and things can change quickly as we have seen with Man C.
I wouldn’t rule them out any more than Arsenal or City.

Because we’re going to win it

This might be their issue.

I can’t remember which game it was but there were two saves and they looked a bit embarrassing, not to mention the goals he conceded their defence isn’t that solid, I think they’ve won a few others this season a bit like this.

I thought Arsenal looked a bit meh at the back conceding 2 against a very average West Ham side and you’ve probably got the same thing here.

I think it depends really on how our backline holds up if it delivers more Man City type performances and less Newcastle over the period Konate and others are out then we should be ok.

As for games forthcoming our list is starting to look a little less tough fixture after tough fixture shame Spurs couldn’t make the Everton game a sort of free hit for us.

Glad we aren’t going a whole 10 days without a game mind.

Edit: interesting to note we’ve conceded half of our goals in pretty much two games.

Which suggests it’s been pretty mean defensively. As I said the next few weeks will see how that holds up.

Ultimately a strong defence will win the title and we’ve done this pretty much without our number 1 goalie for nearly 2 months.

Just found a bit of form in 2nd place and they are drooling over that they might win the league and we ‘have yet to face the real challenge’

Yeah, nobody’s saying that anymore.

lol the idea that sancho or Gordon could rack up the numbers Palmer does is pretty amusing.

Palmer
30 first team goals from open play
23 assists

Sancho
57 first team goals from open play
81 assists

Sancho is two years older, of course but feels like he hasn’t done anything for three years.

Palmer looks alright now but will be just another English attacker who failed to live up to the hype.

Could you ask Mr Mander to stop going on about politics; he might get invited to more TAN parties then.

Jacob Murphy’s second goal of the game.

He’s picked out in space (again) by Alexander Isak and drills the ball through Danny Ward’s legs.

0-0 hang on, Neverton.

Fans and players fighting after the Wolves games. Saw Ait Nouri and Cunha involved. Looked like the pair could use a new home to acclimatise to.

The end of the road for O’Neil now surely?

Yes, Shirley.
