I’d probably go with that though Ramsey it is rumoured won’t play til after Xmas, but then again that’s Twitter.
If Gomez plays right back I’d play VVD, Matip can’t play 4 in a row to be honest though if your considering Konate at the weekend it is more of an option.
I think I’d consider Jones as the other option.
Can’t imagine Ramsey being fit. Think only back to running.

Looks like we have had him twice before - away to Genk in 2019 and away to Leipzig last year. I don’t recall anything controversial about either game.

In reference to the first post, a point here would I believe qualify us for the Europa League, a point in Ajax would probably be enough to stay in the CL regardless what happens here.
Let’s get second wrapped up and see what happens over the WC period and January.
There have been worse teams that have won it.
Anyhow like last week I’ll be awake for this one, had on off flu for a fortnight or so and so I slept through the first 10 of the Arsenal game and woke up minutes before we scored our first against Brighton.
So yeah I’m partly to blame.

City have an extra day to prepare for Sunday.
Hendo and especially Thiago need a rest. Thiago could barely sprint in the last 20 minutes yesterday.
Matip needs a rest and Salah a mental breather.

Firmino came in as substitute against Arsenal, so I expect him to start against Rangers. Also, I expect Jota to play central and Carvalho on the left. I’m tempted to try

No Matip, he is out with TAA for two weeks, which usually means 4 weeks…
So, 1 bad news (Matip, not surprising as he’s always on the edge when he plays 3 times in a week), and 1 good news with Trent as it’s not a long one.
