Read: West Ham vs My Reds, Sat Apr 27 12:30

Salah for Endo (on a card) and move Harvey into right midfield (where he plays much better).

Two wayward passes from the back led to two best situations for West Ham. Got away with it, but then we switched off at the corner and let the smallest forward of West Ham to get the goal.

Diaz looking sharp, and Grav looking much better in defending. West Ham have narrowed the pitch and so we need some more urgency in passing in the right moments (for example, if a player is fere, don’t take an extra touch, but just pass the obvious ball).

Put the youngsters on…atleast it will eradicate the half hearted effort by some.
We are atrocious is final third. Not even one person passes to the player available. Everytime it is to the keeper or a wild shot or hitting the first defender.

But crucially, they are also offensively brilliant. And we are not, we are just good. Sometimes we control midfield really well and make very nice passes, but we score too few goals and out conversion rate is simply too low these days.

But enoough about Arsenal.

Yeah. Take him off before he gets yet another yellow and we’re down to ten men.

He can’t tackle without getting his hands on the player.

At the moment its hard to see us getting any.

Mathematically 4, realistically 0. Spurs have to win every game.

FSG really needs to listen to Edwards and stump out whatever he needs to make this team work. Slot has a lot to do here…

RW is a huge problem. A declining Salah and an Elliott that has no pace and no good close control. The youths don’t seemed good enough yet.

CF is also a problem as nobody can score at CF.

The persistence of Diaz is puzzling. His dribbling is not amazing, he can’t score with his foot. He is just a fancy Dirk Kuyt!

Showing plenty of effort but just no quality in our football.

At least we’re keeping the race for top 4 exciting.

To be fair, work rate should be requirement when they are wearing this jersey. It’s all about what else you bring with it that matters.
Once we start going down that route of consistently praising workrate for this guys… mediocrity will not be a far away thing to see.

Playing the wide right postion doesn’t suit him. Better in the right slot in midfield.

the blueprint is so predictable and yet very effective… press us hard as we attempt to play out,we give the ball away and then a goal…

& even then he’s not better when he starts, he’s very much becoming a 1 trick pony…cutting in and dinking those balls to the far stick.

Gonna have to show a lot more to impress the new guy if he wants to stay at the club.

Frustrating as West ham looked lethargic and so did their crowd.

Our slackness has woken them up

well when he is the only one putting in a shift day in day out, then you have to give him credit even if the end product is shit

Something different needs to happen. Change of formation…or stop putting useless crosses all day long. Play at your feet one touch football and play a diamond for 45 min. Put Mo centrally…gakpo behind and Diaz right and Darwin left.

There…

There’s so much similar talk, yet change one factor - putting out chances in - and all this kind of talk would look so out of place…

It does feel like you describe it though, for sure…

Let’s win this 2nd half eh lads.
