I honestly don’t know. I’m hoping we bring in someone like Sangare (available for around £30m), but equally I wouldn’t be entirely surprised if that’s it for midfield.
If we don’t get another mid in after Lavia then I’m hoping we instead bring in another defender.

7 for 3 positions should be fine, but I personally wouldn’t ever bank on Thiago being fit. If he is it’s a bonus. I’d feel more comfortable with another, but I think it’s the ages of these players and past experience over injuries that is the concern about this group.
If we did get a couple of injuries, I would be okay with seeing Gakpo or perhaps even Jota/Diaz dropping back as one of the more attacking midfielders, but perhaps not for a long stint.
I’m not so concerned about Lavia’s age as others. He looks like a really good player to me and I’m sure he’ll improve under Klopp.
