Was there any major Russian offensive or bombardment in the last 2-3 of weeks?

Massive amounts of bombardment from Russia in the last 2-3 weeks. There have also been Russian gains in terms of territory - certainly at least equal to the territory that Ukraine has regained, at least in terms of area. The question is whether strategically those gains outweigh Russia’s losses. I think Russia have advanced their position strategically in the last 2-3 weeks but the cost to its resources has been immense.

Thanks. In my casual observations, the Russians seemed eerily quiet. I didn’t like that, a bit.
This (both human and material) wasn’t their consideration even at the beginning.

If they have such dire consequences for the countries which are imposing the sanctions, what effect will they have on the target country?
The more Russian politicians argue against sanctions, the more they look like a good idea.
