If we have set a target price of 40M GBP , At the max we can look at concluding the deal at 37M , not anywhere at 34M.
And Itās for Bayern Munich to say blink first and suggest a price in between both the valuations. Little bit of give and take and this deal will get done quickly.
If Iām Mane I wouldnāt be impressed by Bayerns approach to the bidding so far.

What does he care. Heās on holiday knowing at some point in the next few weeks his salary will treble.

They really arenāt, unless a margin of 15% to 20% is more or less the same, in which case Chelsea more or less finished on the same amount of points as us last season.

The pound has lost a lot of ground to the euro since its inception. First few years, early 2000s low 0.6. Last few years mid 0.8. Itās a good 20% difference, and there have been years where it got close to 1:1.
Be that as it may, there is still a significant gap, and if someone asks me whether Iād like a million euros or pounds, I would go for the latter.
Oh, and Sadio will be done soon enough. Bayern have played silly buggers and had their own little war of attrition with daft bids, but now that Darwin is on board, I would imagine this will be done, but only for a couple million less than what we asked.
Pound dropped yesterday dunno if it rallied this morning.

How many of those were penalties - sadio doesnt usually take those for us except in a shoot out?
Two of Moās were pens, vs. Villa this last season, and vs. Brighton in 18/19. Milnerās was also a pen, vs Swansea in 15/16.
