Come on Inter, after years of big announcements, this must be the year?
Roma has somehow sneaked in and staying put in a CL spot.
Yeah, Fonseca quitely doing a good job keeping Roma around those places.
Napoli also nicely complicating their season after a promising start. Knocked out of Europe tonight. Who knows what they qualify for next season.
The great Osimhen with 2 goals and 1 assists so far after a £63m move there, having one season in Belgium and one season in France in his legs.
Frankly I’m surprised that Napoli are still in contention for CL places. After they fired Carlo Ancelotti, I thought most of their key players will leave and they would become a midtable team.
I feel their key players have mentally stagnated and they haven’t refreshed the squad properly.
I like this lad a lot, I’m very pleased to see him improving. Fiorentina have handled his development well so far and he responded to it. He strikes me as a player Dortmund could go after once they sell Haaland.
Serbian, eh!!! Just one way to check if he is any good, sign him for Liverpool.
You know what time it is when Juve have Danilo starting in central midfield in a two…
Torino leading 2-1
Juventus remaining games
vs. Napoli
vs. Genoa
@ Atalanta
vs. Parma
@ Fiorentina
@ Udinese
vs. Milan
@ Sassuolo
vs. Inter
@ Bologna
Will they fire Pirlo if they don’t make CL next season?
Would love to see them drop out, just to ask themselves about countless crap/meh decisions over the last 2 years or so.
Like the one about the revamp of Champions League? Whoops, wrong thread!
The more I see of Chiesa, the more I like him. One of the rare positives of Juve’s season so far. Good dribbler, can go in behind, can play on both sides (and probably all across the front if needed), plays with passion and bravery, has enough skills to go with it. Really good player to watch.
Nine points separating second-placed Milan (63 points) and seventh-placed Roma (54 points). Still to come:
Atalanta vs. Juventus
Napoli vs. Inter
Roma vs. Atalanta
Napoli vs. Lazio
Lazio vs. Milan
Juventus vs. Milan
Inter vs. Roma
Roma vs. Lazio
Juventus vs. Inter
Atalanta vs. Milan
Nice season Juve, nice.
Still favorite to land one of those CL spots.
Fascinating to see how many of the “rebels” are going to be out of the CL next season. There are anywhere between 2-4 from the Prem and Juve now. The timing could be coincidental, but it very much has the feeling of taking their ball home.
I was thinking, whichever team Matuidi left at the top level, that team lost some of it’s balance he provided.
PSG, Juve and France.
Inter three wins away from clinching the title. They have Verona (10th), Crotone (20th) and Sampdoria (9th) next. They won five consecutive titles between 2005 and 2010 .
Getting knocked out of CL actually helped them.
Inter can claim the championship if Atalanta doesn’t win (currently leading against Sassuolo) today.
