It appears that those defending X in this thread are citing the fact that the news is posted there first, even before on official websites.

I have nothing against banning X or have X as I don’t read or use it. But I am against banning a platform just because some thinks it does not agree with them. And also to bring up S*n is ridiculous. That rag has affected us directly as a club and this is a LFC forum so of course it’s ban is warranted unlike X.
