The all-new NFL Thread

Yes, Pro14 rugby wiped a couple of matches this weekend. But the Denver fiasco is particularly special, because it was so avoidable.

Royce Freeman, RB Oregon, 6’ 240 lbs was supposed to be the fourth string QB.

I may actually watch the NFL for 2 drives which will take about 1 hour.

Isn’t it time for Tim Tebow to make a comeback?

And maybe this time he’ll be good at football instead of ads!

We don’t get the ads, fortunately. We get our own British ones.

So I get Tebow and Rooney ads. And I still keep a bright outlook on life.

No idea. I’ve not exactly been following his decline.

Denver-New Orleans is amusingly terrible. They may as well haul out the wishbone. With Brees out, neither side can pass, so neither side can run. Near end of first quarter, 1 completion for about 2 yards between the two.

Stop whining. I’m a Bears fan.

How are you a Rams fan anyway?

I used to wear glasses as a kid. Loved Eric Dickerson’s specs.

That’s an awesome story.

Nagy saying Trubisky had his best practice in 2.5 years! Yes! Da bears are back!!!

Not likely.

Not exactly a high bar that’s been set there.

You’re right. Probably means his longest completion will go for 3 yards. YAC though…one can dream.

Packers score. Game over.

I only watched about 10 minutes of the Denver fiasco, but had to check the box score. Denver went 1 for 9 on passes, 2 interceptions, 13 yards gained. Utterly pointless game, a covid classic.

Can’t believe we’re 5-point favourites tonight. I’m betting on the Patriots to win straight up, as we always seem to find a way to lose against your lot. :joy:
