Okay, be honest. Tell us how you really feel about Jackie?

I love Jackie and pray that he gets a chance to do a trip through the Andies. I would love to go with him but you know the reasons for which I would not.

Everyone called Andy?

The extreme load message again appearing and this time it isn’t @PeachesEnRegalia to blame.

I see the Mod Team are removing my “inappropriate” replies to @Jackbenimble… and even one which clearly wasn’t.

Not sure why the Mod Team are proactive in removing my posts while standing idly by while the aforementioned poster is clearly just trolling on here.

You can’t just sling insults at people, I’m afraid.

I also deleted one by the aforementioned poster for the same reason.

If you think another poster has over-stepped, flag it.

No problem, can do.

Can we add a “Trolling” option to the report post options please?

I know there’s an “Other”, but to make it easier for reporting, can we add it?

No idea tbh lol.

But really we look at the content of the flagged post, not the tagged reason for it being flagged.

Maybe @ISMF can look into the code to see if it could be added. While the Mod Team may not look at the category, from an end user perspective, seeing the option there would indicate that reporting trolling is welcomed.

Do you also check the history of posting, because I checked the history of posts on Sunday and it was a stream of negativity. As soon as Dom scored his wonder goal, a moment that you live for as a football fan, they disappeared until it was time to gripe about the Gueli situation.

There’s nothing wrong with having a downer of opinion once in a while, but I have come across Evertonians who were happier when they were broke, in the relegation zone, and being deducted points.

Being negative isn’t an infraction in and of itself, but if it crosses the line into becoming obvious trolling we’d take a more detailed look.

As for posting history, I can think of a couple of bannings in semi-recent times where the poster’s body of work was taken into account rather than it being a single flashpoint that caused the ban.

But whats the criteria for trolling. Its far too objective just because you believe it could be someone else may not.

It becomes an incredibly sticky wicket for the mods as it sets off tit for tat reporting of posts.

Which absolutely never gets old lol.

Trolling is a tricky one as it can be quite subtle, so in cases like that we tend to have a policy of ‘let’s keep an eye on this for now and see how it develops’

I presume my ‘body of work’ will be assessed when awards season comes around.
I’m expecting to finally receive a deserved ‘Lifetime Achievement’ gong.
My fans will not take disappointment lightly if the committee fail to deliver the correct result. I’m just saying :person_shrugging:

I had my jibes at Jack, simply because it was there for the taking. But whether he is just being obtuse or trolling deliberately, only he knows.

This might not be popular but I see value in having such posters, it can be very boring if everyone is just doing prim and proper discussion. I will enjoy seeing his posts until he either gets banned or hounded out by our jibes.

Everyone is a grumpy bastard from time to time and lets off a bit of steam. That’s different than every single post being being a negative rant at the club. If you can’t find a positive thing to say in our current position then it can only be trolling

Summed up perfectly.
