Here in Germany the situation is completely crazy atm, while Bavaria is proclaiming the state-wide disaster because the intensive care units are full, people in North Rhine-Westphalia are happily looking forward to carnival without a mask. They are all totally nuts here. The old government no longer cares and is now finger pointing at the new government, which is not yet in office and is still negotiating its coalition.
Ironically, the Cologne Carnival Prince was just tested positive and has to be quarantined.
Tbh, I totally lost hope and faith because we have so many stupid antivaxxers. Or as we say… Schwurbler.
My only concern with this is the spin that the anti vax crowd will jump on while completely ignoring the “at cost” policy they have been following up to now.
I suppose another concern is where 3rd world nation that use AZ, are on with their vaccination programmes and how this would affect them.
