I’m the exact opposite. All off side for me, just can’t play off my legs.
Ah……
Fucks’s sake Moin!!
Love to see the younger kids coming in but if we could have Bairstow in next please?
Need to tell him not to muck about on the golf course when on form
Good effort that fielder.
Wonder what he’s going to do….
YESSSSSS!!! Stokes you beauty!! Redemption for his over in Kolkata!
Crazy about 4 balls spanning two overs changed that game from a toss up to a formality.
Well done England, Stokes again.
Brilliant!
The Afridi injury was the crucial moment.
Why is it always Stokes?
He’s an all time great in white ball cricket already in terms of achievement if not stats.
Afridi injury was indeed a big deal, but we have Archer, Topley, Mills and most recently Wood missing through injury. If Woods alone was fit and firing Pakistan may not have even made double digits on this pitch and in these conditions. So it balances out for me.
All true, but in the context of the match it was the turning point.
Never in doubt.
Nice to see Sam Curran win player of the tournament, thoroughly deserved.
Said yesterday about “if” being a wonderful word in sport.
If Ali had been crap yesterday, if Soton had been able to score more chances.
If Keita hadn’t gone off against Brighton when we 2 up last season.
It’s great because we just will never know, similarly if Konate isn’t injured, if we hadn’t had 19 injuries to players this year.
At the end England deserve it since the Ireland result.
If Stokes hadn’t bowled the final over 6 years ago is another.
Sam Curran is ever inch not the gobby intimidating brash cricketer you expect to be front and centre. Mild mannered, unassuming and calm. Well done kid, well done.
If Trent had have slipped on that corner or took a mo to blow his nose. You’re right, IF is a might big word in sports. Ask Jose about goal line technology
Yup if Shaqiri was a little bit quicker
That one really hurt!
Also, if Stevie G hadn’t slipped
Nah, Henderson’s suspension was the pronlem.
