England really should have won this game from the position they had Australia in, both of these teams this summer have thrown away what should have been straightforward victories. Looks like Morgan is hoping for a miracle from Rashid now which would appear unlikely given how he has bowled so far in this series.

Hold on a minute…surely Australia can’t throw this away now!? Two set batsman gone and now Starc and Cummins need to get 10 from the last over. Morgan sticking with Rashid to bowl it :astonished: .

Well damn, bowling Rashid then seems like a gamble Morgan didn’t need to take. Curran is a death bowling specialist, probably would have fancied him as being more capable of defending that. Oh well, great game.

Losing to the Aussies is the worst. I live with one.

We Aussies could say the same after having you 2/0 off 0.2. If not for Bairstow you would have been sunk in the water.

Great to see GOATswell along with Carey bringing home the bacon.

Just came home from nets. 25 of us there. Legal. But 6 can’t meet?

Howzat make sense?

It’s cricket, it never makes sense

I did ask the captain on the QT and he said “erm, want to pad up?” 14 year old hit me on the elbow and I’m pretty sure I’m dead.

Was a ridiculous situation but social distanced sport is still AOK.

Handy little knock from Sam Curran there, sent in before Dhoni to finish the innings. 18 from 6 and pretty much secured the win for them. Also bowled well earlier in the day. Hopefully he gets plenty of game time for CSK, looking at their squad they have a really stacked collection of bowlers so he’ll do well to be a regular in the side.

Flicked over to the IPL to see Stoinis take two wickets in two balls to force a super over. Looks like Chris Jordan has had a bit of a nightmare game for KXIP, 0-56 with the ball and then out off the last ball of the game which should have been hit away easily.

What an anti climax, Rabada concedes two from the first ball then picks up two wickets.

Dean Jones has passed away. He was 59. Horrible news.

Was working on the IPL broadcast here in Mumbai.

RIP.

That’s incredibly sad. I grew up with him, Boon, Border, Taylor, the Waugh brothers, pulverising the English attack. What a player and personality.

Cardiac Arrest.
Also hearing reports that Brett Lee, his fellow commentator on IPL show, tried CPR.

Jones was on the TV yesterday.

Yep really sad about Deano. Caviler batsman, didn’t give a shit about his average, to the detriment of his career. At his best in the one day shirt and also 89 ashes for us. Also a superb fieldsman, in the deep and around the bat.

Also infamous for baiting Ambrose in 92/3 with the wrist bands. Again super aggressive move.

Had a kookaburra supreme bat with his signature.rip Deano.

This is what happens when Jonty is your fielding coach, some immense fielding by KXIP today.

There’s absolute no bloody way this is not a 6.

The end of this game has been ridiculous to say the least. Tewatia could barely hit the ball past the inner ring, 8 (20) at one point. Then from nowhere he hits 30 in an over, Archer comes out and hits his first two balls for six. Highest chase in IPL history.

Incredible, he could easily have been man of the match for the Kings XI before that crazy patch he decided to go all in.
