That’s a seriously impressive record.
I was wondering whether South Africa being dire in general would have played into such healthy figures, but balls bowled to reach 300 kind of rules that out. Just one of the greats.

Think England might be a bit under par, thank god for the Smith assault. Still probably slight favourites given Pakistan will be batting fourth on that.
Last I saw, Eng were looking in deep shyte at 103-5 so seems they made a decent recovery after that. Pakistan losing 3 wickets for less than 100 leaves a nice battle over the next 3-4 days
