It certainly feels like that.

England surrendering meekly. Can’t wait to get on the plane.

Stokes needs to have a long look in the mirror.

Spineless flat-track bullies.

Smash it all over the place against buffet bowlers on a lifeless pitch, ask them to dig in and construct an innings against a decent attack and they crumble like a fucking stale biscuit.
Stokes looks done.

It’s weird but the minute Stokes came back both the batting depth and bowling balance fell apart. Stokes has been really good at bolstering confidence of talented young bowlers but at the cost of overall bowling performance and hasn’t provided anything of value the last two tests, with either ball or bat.

Congratulations to the Black Caps. Fantastic achievement for everyone’s second favourite team.

Not mine.

Of course, but you would take issue with any hopeful or positive statement so I just presume people know that everyone means everyone except Cynnie.

I told yo so.

The old stopped clock rule.

It’s in the interest of test cricket that the game has a wider group of competitive teams. We need NZ, SA, WI, SL and Pak to be able to beat Aus and India sometimes in order to keep things exciting. Similarly Pakistan’s win over England, although nowhere near as seismic, will generate more interest in the game there. India have a huge advantage just in terms of population, and it’s good to see them brought down to earth a little.

India are going to get whacked.

You can call our team a bunch of cheating shitheads, but good lord this is a ridiculous bowling lineup.

“I just need to get through these early overs and see out Hazelwood and Starc so I can face…errr Cummins and Lyon…”

Undeniably the strongest bowling lineup I’ve seen (as proved by how the wickets are shared) and that includes the McGrath and Warne era.

Edited. Not fucking Warner.

Who’s the commentator talking about Kohli’s problem with ‘the woida loin’?

Rishabh loves samosas.

I hope so……

Coming off the Kiwi trouncing they are clearly struggling. I will almost go as far as to say that is the most unbelievable series result ever.

But back to the Aussies….as @JU97ICE says above this attack could be our greatest attack and I will need to hit the history books to see if I can come up with another 4. And on the bouncy WACA that’s not gunna help India.

But I rate Pant and Bumrah. Long way to go.

That’s a super unlucky break for India. I’ve seen the Aussies get done for exactly the same: the only evidence being from snicko, so it sucks to be on the end of one of those. But this comes down to whether the rules state snicko can stand on its own as evidence for a decision reversal.

should have stayed with the on field umpire’s call.

They should have run the audio further as there would have been two spikes if he had knicked it.
Pretty shoddy use of the technology. Not the first time we’ve said that though.

My first thought was a regulation edge. And cricket tech has normally been accepted compared to the way too much subjectivity of VAR. But not this time
