Shame England have chosen to produce a pitch like this, absolute road. Root and Brook bowling following a prolonged spell of short pitched bowling doesn’t make for great viewing.
Regardless, a fantastic knock by Gill. His dismissal is probably the only mistake he made in nearly 400 balls.

It’s an absolute road of a pitch as these two are displaying, Smith had a great chance to beat the record for fastest test century. Some poor shots in those five wickets.
