Probably not even in the top 20. Way down the pecking order at Somerset, then went to down to Division Two, only took two wickets at an average of over 150 and got dropped by them as well. Can’t bat or field, just an absolute waste of a selection.
Even if England somehow pull off a win I’d be making at least four changes for the next test. Crawley, Pope, Bashir binned off and a rest for one of the quicks.

Need at least one spinner so that he can give the quicks a breather. You can’t have two quicks going in tandem all the time in these hot weather tests. When the ball gets old you have to conserve your quicks by rotating them on one and while a spinner (who can theoretically do many many more overs) ties down the other end.
For Wngland currently, has to be a spinner who is hard to score off and is consistent. Wicket taking is a bonus.
Bash has to take a breather the next test.
I love Harry Brook, but he was completely irresponsible with his shot. If England had another 50 runs they’d be in with a good chance, but I still think India are favourites at this point.
