Should have just mentioned sandpaper and DIY

Aren’t you in Noosa GK? If you see them on the beach, have a word

Yep, he’ll be down here somewhere

It’s pretty hard to hide here…

“We’ll draw on a couple of years ago,” said the head coach. “We’ve been here before, 2-0 down, and we came within a bee’s dick of getting ourselves the win, so there’s no point in feeling sorry for ourselves. That ends in all sorts of trouble. Just pick yourselves off, dust yourselves off, sharpen off a few of the rough areas and keep heading towards the target.”

He’s an optimist, I’ll give him that.

Is he an optimist or deluded?

Probably the latter…
It’s all ‘vibes’ man…

In all honesty, Dennis might be better qualified to coach this England team.

Speaking of vibes, man…

“This England team are still trying to be cool in defeat, to talk about going for beers in the sting of 2-0 down.”

Read this in that article and watched the video posted above as well. McCullum giving that interview with a relative smirk on his face and with the demeanor of a man who’d just gone two nil up without a care in the world instead of the other way around. I genuinely had a what the fuck did I watch moment.

Stokes on about weak men while the coach swaggers around like God’s gift to cricket. They’ve lost their marbles and your average Joe (just a phrase) in the dressing room must be wondering what alternate universe they’ve had the misfortune to stumble into.

Wood out for the series, who could have foreseen this. Needs to be retired from tests now.

Poor sod. He’s obviously a really good bloke, but physically not up to it.

Tough luck on Hazlewood but don’t appear to be missing him much at the moment anyway.

Starting to resemble Alex Tudor

forgot how brittle Harry was

The Aussie selectors have some tough decisions to make before the 3rd test.

Who do we drop for Pat and Gaz to come back?

Adelaide is Doggett’s home test, so would be favoured to keep his spot, but with Neser taking a 5-for can you really drop him?

Does Kawaja come back in, or do you stick with the current batting line up, and if so, who do you drop?

Nice problems to have, mate.

He was also extraordinarily loose in his first spell, releasing a lot of the sustained pressure built up by the other bowlers. For Cummings? I couldn’t drop Neser quick enough.

Doggett and Neser out. Take our best bowlers to Adelaide, keep the 17 game winless streak going, and if needed, give Boland a rest in Melbourne (don’t really care about it being his home ground).

It’s a good chance the selectors go with Doggett over Boland though.

Doggett goes for Pat.

Gaz comes in for either Neser or Boland.

Possibly Boland gets rested so he plays in Melbourne on his home track?

Uzzie nah….my opinion on him has been clear on here for the last 12 months. Done.
