Have you had your jabs?
I’ll share this one but take your pick on articles out there.
Simply put MvdP is different gravy.
Did you give Pogi the finger?
Bit rude, bro.
Wasn’t there.
I’m more of a stick in the spokes kinda guy.
Got to catch him first though.
Do you reckon I could hide behind that van?
Gonna be another year of racing for second place, I think.
He is unstoppable.
Cycling is kind of screwing itself here. Pogacar is unbelievable, but how many teams are going to ride for GC in any race he is present? Vinegars already talking about the Giro, no idea if he skips this year’s Tour. MvdP skipped today I think, saying it suits the climbers (and Pogi) more.
Plus with the points system, teams are targeting races where they can maximise riders in the top 10 to get the points
my stick in the spokes plan gains momentum!
Just caught up with the highlights.
How the hell does he do it? Over 75km solo, average race speed of 42km/hr and no one can stay with him. They can’t even hold his wheel. Crazy.
I mean in last years Tour Ben Healy averaged 495W for 5 minutes in one stage. That is nuts, especially at 58kg. In that 5 minutes Tadej put 15 seconds into him.
My brain seriously can’t cope with the numbers that the pros put out, but you put Pogacar on top of that and I need help.
So who is winning this weekend?
It’s a big one.
MvdP

He had an off day.
He fell over.
So did Pog…
He did. I think Pog bounces. MvdP less so.
What a ride by Pidcock though. Interesting to follow him this season.
Best thing he ever did was leave Ineos.
They’re the Liverpool of cycling.
