Put LBL on if you’ve got Eurosport!!!

This is gonna be a great finish!!!

ZOMG

I’ll upload the finish as soon as it is on Twitter.

Drama.

Big finish coming today - Mount Etna. Watching with interest

G looks to be struggling…

:flushed:

Oh shit…I didn’t realise he had crashed. Ineos having as good a 2020 as the rest of us…I’ll be honest and say I do not see that as a bad thing…

@Noo_Noo did you see the LBL finish yet??

No

Story of my week. Didn’t see the Thomas crash either. I’m kind of getting the incling that he’s gone over twice today. He’s really struggling. if he finishes, which is looking really unlikely he’s going to lose a shed load of time.

not a huge amount of sympathy for Ineos but a shed full for Thomas. has to be one of the unluckiest cyclists ever.

Yeah…well said.

Thomas lost over 11 minutes.

he looked done. I doubt we see him tomorrow.

Yates also lost time for no obvious reason.

Thomas out. Cracked pelvis. Fuck, it must have hurt finishing that stage.

Shame I would have liked to see him battle with Yates but he was also off. Haven’t found out why yet

WTF a helicopter?? I saw the aftermath of the crash, which looked bad.

It’s a shame that the Giro coverage isn’t quite as thorough as in the Tour.

Freeman (I’m going to refuse to put Dr before his name) is such a lying cunt.

Been a hard couple of years for him.

I used to really dislike him, he was just always acting like a tit. I guess when you’ve won 30 stages of the Tour…

When he got older he mellowed so much and I saw an interview with him in which he said he knew full well he used to often carry on like a pork chop and looked back with a bit of embarrassment at how he used to be. Certainly changed my view.

At any rate, an all time great. 30 stages??? Crazy…that is almost 3 times as many as Peter fecking Sagan, and when you’re on a podium with Merckx and Hinnault, that’s not bad company…

Sensational rider, no doubt.

What I liked about him was that to look at him, physically you’d never think he was a sprinter. He certainly wasn’t of the same physical stature as say Thor Huschovd. He even looked ungainly on the bike but damn he was fast.

I always felt that he was heavily reliant on a lead out train though. But perhaps he was so heavily marked poaching a position on someone else’s tail wasn’t that easy.

Should have had many more stage victories as well. Phenomenal rider.

Yeah huge shame he never got to Eddie Merckx’s 34 stage victories. It was almost inevitable at one point.

Turn on the Giro if you wanna see some hairy stuff.

Hot damn, I don’t even go outside in weather like that.

Just switched on now. Damn that looks juicy. Earning their protein shakes today.

two teams also pulled out yesterday due to COVID. Yates tested positive!!!

Also listening to the far superior Welsh commentary there was a discussion about snow in the Alps!.

Sagan wins it. Great stage.

Just saw an interview with Geraint Thomas as well as footage of his crash. Worst possible luck, a drinks bottle dislodged by the bumpy road. In good spirits though, back on the beer, with the odd Welsh cake.
