True. I think he’s a pretty good reviewer though.
Rewatched Buried with Ryan Reynolds, still think it’s the best work he’s done to date.
Terrific and ending is a heart breaker.
I often think about that film. It’s great the way they manage to keep escalating the tension until the end of the movie. Surprised it isn’t talked about or shown on tv/ streamed more.
I thought it was terrifying. I couldn’t watch it in one sitting.
It’s because it didn’t need the big production costs, the stellar cast, the guns the chases the explosions the graphics…unless you’re part of the RR fan club, chances are you don’t know it exists.
Just 1 man underground somewhere in a box for 90mins crying for help :), but yes tremendous work all round.
I can’t be sure but… In the film ‘Battle of the River Plate’ in one of the early scenes one of the ratings aboard HMS Ajax (?) is played by a female actor?
Not seen IT for about 25 years. Yet another bit of source material for Stranger Things. Great film. Goonies, Stand By Me etc etc etc.
That looks shit and brilliant
Babaduck. What absolute shite.
For sure. The Duffer brothers were heavily inspired by Stephen King. You can add in Firestarter and The Mist as well. Probably Carrie too.
I really didn’t understand why Perry said what he said about Keanu. However, my wife told me that she read that Perry had apologised and said that it could have been any name instead of Keanu’s and that he had also said that he wished he put his own name there.
Watching The Mist right now
I found it surprisingly good. Sort of like cabin fever meets lord of the flies meets the three body problem trilogy/ark …
The Adam Project
Wanted to watch it sooner, really enjoyed it, never watched a Star Wars film in full but I’d imagine this is a bit like what it’d be exceptthis had the humour and some heart felt moments.
