My partner had no idea who Michelle Yeoh is so I made a point, multiple times to explain it to her…what a bas ass she is, how it was great she was getting a role like this at nearly 60 etc.
She then blew my mind in a way I dont think I’ve recovered from yet by telling me the husband was short round from Temple of Doom (Data from goonies).
How much made up language and subtitles do you want?
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
‘YES’
Polar
Very intriguing concept, stylish and artistic with its creativity and design.
Hudgens carries a nice little sub-story to keep tabs with.
Winnick and O’fee, sweet mother oh Mary.
Just watched the first episode of something called FIFA Uncovered on Netflix. It’s a four-part series. Seems appropriate as we slide into the oil-soaked, desert festivities of the next few weeks.
These international sports bodies are always massively corrupt. The IOC is little better.
Makes club football seem squeaky clean.

‘I didn’t have a single audition for a year’: Goonies and Indiana Jones child star Ke Huy Quan on finding fame again | Film | The Guardian
Looking forward to John Wick spin off starring Ana De Armas
Hey with 6 weeks of no football cold turkey to get through… :0)
It sounds like the start of a night of passionate love making
I’ve not seen that film. Is it any good?
Hummingbird
Stories a bit all over the shop here, former secret services turned homeless man reunites with this girl who was also once homeless but is now sum nun…goes off working for the Chinese in supplying drugs and then tosses some guy off a rooftop for abusing and killing prostitutes.
The Unforgivable
Twist got me here, can’t say I ever saw it coming. Surely the girl knew then and now what she had done despite the great acting telling otherwise?
Top drama delivered in a simplistic manner.
Interesting Rock quandary - has there ever been a bigger star with such little bankable assets on his CV? What has he ever done to demonstrate his film star credentials? What’s his biggest success? The Fast and Furious franchise? Something he piggy backed into after it was already an existing franchise?
Never watched Tooth Fairy or Hercules have you?
The scorpion king in mummy returns ?
I liked him in the other guys with SLJ!
I like some of his earlier movies like
Welcome to the jungle (The Rundown)
Walking tall
Gridiron Gang
Snitch
Snitch is a pretty good watch, no jokes involved…he plays a father who hesitantly works for the police to try and get his son out of prison/a reduced sentence for getting mixed up in a drug gang.
Also liked Skyscraper and San Andreas, only because I have a soft spot for disaster/height type films…but both films also involve trying to save his family…again neither has jokes entailed.
