Improv that scene wasn’t it?

Such a loss of a wonderful talent. Everything he was in he made better.

Everyone of the movies is great - loved them all!

If there are any Koyaanisqatsi fans on here:

Interesting list. At least 2 of them (Martian and Interstellar) didnt just get the science right, but were stories that started with a thought about the science and then wrote the stories around that. From that perspective it’s interesting they left out Carl Sagan’s Contact.

THAT scene in contact is chilling first time you see it. I hadn’t read the book. But it is true that it could be the first signal that aliens get from us. Assuming they can decode it.

Would it be out of order to call for a blanket ban on any member that doesn’t like this post?

No Dredd love no blankets.

“FUCKING YES” a thousand times!!! I never thought it would happen, honestly!

Same here. Urban frequently talked about wanting to do another film or a series but there never seemed to be any follow up.

The cast for Nolan’s next movie ‘Oppemheimer’

Was the Dread remake good then? I dont think I saw it.

Had a bit of a budget feel to it but felt more faithful to the source material than the cheesy Stallone version. Prior to it Robocop was the nearest incarnation. I really enjoyed it.

Was some minor controversy at the time that the story was similar to that of ‘the raid’ (which was released prior but filmed later than Dredd).
