The Warriors? Another belter.
Can you dig it?
The Warriors? Another belter.
Can you dig it?
I was gonna tell you not to bother. Low budget trash
Turned it off after 30 minutes, a waste of time.
Speaking of waste of time, Marlowe was a great big disappointment and I’m a sucker for a Liam Neeson flick…so slow & dull, painful to keep up with what’s going on although the stylish retro setting was the 1 decent element it clung onto.
Cocaine Bear is just a mental, over the top completely nuts movie.
I can’t wait for the sequel. It’s going to be much more drama based and a reflection on society’s struggles with addiction issues. It’s called Rehab Bear.
That’s a shame. I’m not big fan of Liam Neeson generally but had hoped this would be worth watching as I am a huge fan of Raymond Chandler’s writing which I assumed this would be (at least loosely) based on.
White Noise - an absolute mess of a film. I went in knowing it was apparently an ambitious film, but was not aware of its history - it being based on source material that had spent 30 years trying to be adapted into film with people failing to figure out how to do it. Whatever it was trying to do to do it did not succeed, and I say that even as a big Adam Driver fan.
I’d give marijuana bear a miss though,
Its just a bear devouring loads of crisps!
The prequel doesn’t sound much better.
Emotionally Stunted Bear.
Wonder what you guys think are the best Courtroom movies.
Fracture
Twelve Angry Men in my opinion but I’m not fond of the courtroom subgenre (if there is such a thing), to be honest.
Oh Runaway Jury & The Rainmaker for sure.
In recent time…not many spring to mind I don’t think they make too many legal thrillers nowadays, The Lincoln Lawyer was decent enough but Mccoughney really holds that 1 on his own.
My favourite movies which involve a court room for a extend period are:
Twelve Angry Men
Sleepers
Trial of the Chicago 7
The Exorcism of Emily Rose
Amistad
Miracle on 34th Street (og)
To Kill a Mockingbird
Sleepers is one of my favorite movies of all time and A Time to Kill is definitely in the Top 10 of courtroom movies.
Primal Fear is good, Edward Norton’s breakout role.
12 Angry Men is the best I’ve seen though. Either that or Legally Blonde, a tough call.
Dark Waters and the Insider are both really good lawyer films, albeit without much actually happening in the court room in either.
Full Metal Jacket
American Beauty
The Usual Suspects
Oh…lawyer films
