He’s young and new to it so doesn’t have much of a track record yet. However, he is one of those ex players who you knew only succeed to the level he did because he understood the game incredibly well as soon as he turned his eye to management he was being paid attention to. Very similar to Alonso, people may be willing to take a shot for him prior to his managerial CV justifying it. This year though he has a perpetually midtable Bologna almost certain to qualify for the CL ahead of teams like Roma and Napoli, at the Atalanta who just gave us so much trouble, and with no real names to call upon. Its a very impressive job this season at least
