Do any of you know which buses go to
- Lark Lane
- Sefton park
I am thinking of getting a bus from Liverpool One or shall i get the train to Aigburth?

The 86 and 86A buses run directly from Liverpool ONE Bus Station to the Aigburth area. [1, 2, 3]
These buses depart roughly every 10 minutes, and take you near Sefton Park in about 13 to 26 minutes depending on your exact destination in Aigburth. [1, 2]

If it was me, I’d get the train to St Michaels, although I would be usually getting there from another station anyway.

I am thinking of coming early saturday morning 8th August, then rest at the aparthotel. Then, explore that area. Have lunch in Lark Lane and spend some hours at Sefton park. I am meeting up with two friends, one is local. Then, sunday, head over to Anfield for the game.

I just watched a YT video, the video poster mentioned that Anfield also has Walk on the Pitch tour, the itinerary is slightly different from the standard Anfield tour. He said that you can wear football boots and have a feel of the Anfield pitch. Perhaps because there is no concerts at this time, and it is at the end of the season, the visitors will get some hints and tips from some trainers, and you can actually kick the ball toward goals. The cost of the tour is about £95, which takes about 1 hour 15 minutes.
He also mentioned that the empty seat where Jota used to occupy, which is between Mamadashvilli and Ekitike. The seat does not have a name on it anymore.

If you go by train, you should absolutely get off at St. Michael’s. Aigburth station is a lot further from Lark Lane.

The winner of this year’s Liverpool Sculpture Prize has been revealed. Skalli, created by artist Patric Rogers, will remain on the plinth at Liverpool Parish Church for 12 months. The artwork is a seated figure, part fish, part human, drawn from a folklore and rooted in its proximity to the Mersey.
Winner Patric Rogers is a Liverpool-born and Wirral-based artist, working across sculpture, film and interdisciplinary forms. His more recent body of work explores how history, folklore and mythology shape belonging, and how these stories persist through people and environments.

Anfield is pretty much what it says on the tin. It is a field at the top of a hill. I rather like that they have abbreviated Everton to “Pig Enclosure”. The traditional derivation from Old English is “settlement of the wild boar”.

This is interesting, the origins of the names of different suburbs of Liverpool.
I am in Liverpool on 8th and 9th August, to see Monaco FC.

I am planning to spend time in Lark Lane and Sefton park area this time.
Just got to plan the bus route from LiverpoolOne. I planned my stay abit better. Nearer to Lime street. It is one of those aparthotel places.
Any recommendations to eat in Lark Lane area?
I also want to sit on a bus from Liverpool one terminal and go out into the suburbs and back to point of origin.
Shall apply for a mersey rail and bus card? Like we an oyster card in London.

Will buy ‘saveaday’ card as I want the freedom of travelling on all the buses and metro stations.
I am going to try and do a quick stop tour if Birkenhead if possible.

I am in Lark Lane at Minna’s.having lunch.
I love it here. I need to find a house opposite St Michael’s station. 
Then off to spend a couple of hours in Sefton Park with a Gelato.

The food was amazing.
Then, when i went to Sefton Park, I saw King Whippy’s ice cream. Gelato had no chance. Mr Whippy’s ice cream is king.
