4 years ago he was a marvelous talent. Better then than Sancho is now, and by a considerable margin. Since then he has had 3 terrible seasons in which he has been rejected by his new club and by his own body. There is reason to be dubious that he makes even less of an impact there than Ighalo has.

Ole Gunnar is given none of the players he wants. Funny for the rest of the league, but for Manchester United it is kind of tragic. The management doesn’t want Dembele, they had him as an emergency loan if everything goes to hell. It has gone to hell, but Barca refuses a loan deal, so they have to buy now. What foolishness. It now looks as if they are setting Ole Gunnar up for a fall. His squad is not good enough, that has been clear for quite some time. They desperately need a CB, a creative midfielder and a striker. The only deal they have managed to do, is the Dutch guy who plays in a position that was not crucial to reinforce. A shambles, it is not as if there is not money in that club. United put in a very low bid for Telles, got laughed in the face, and their negotiators have negotiated with Dortmund with the idea that Dortmund would cave in and everyone who have followed Dortmund a bit knows that they don’t cave in like that. For the love of God, I don’t understand what they are doing.
